It is with deep sadness that we announce the home-going of our dear friend and brother, Franklin George. This sad event occured on Sunday, December 28 in Atlanta, GA after a period of protracted illness.

According to family sources, celebration of his "end of sojourn" is as follows ...

We had a moving experience and opportunity to fellowship with Franklin in August 2006 while attending the annual Ricks Reunion in Atlanta; he remained in very high spirit despite his shortcomings and continue to keep in touch with some of us. "Papee" will surely be missed but we thank God for his life and the opportunity to have known him.

Please stay tuned. Time is of the essence, hence we plan to schedule a teleconference in a day or two to discuss what part we can play in bidding "Papee" farewell. Please continue to keep his Mom and sister and the rest of the family in your prayers.
