 National Chairman Welcome

It has been 20 years since our first reunion was held in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a time to reflect on what we have achieved over the years and whether we have accomplished the goals we have set for ourselves. We also have to look at areas in which we have failed and what we can do to make improvements. We will all agree that we have matured as an association over the years. With all our achievements, there are still opportunities to improve.

Our contributions to Ricks Institute since our inception are numerous – from educational materials, financial support for instructional staff to helping rebuild its damaged infrastructure. Our alma mater will continue to need our support for the foreseeable future. I ask you to rededicate yourself to the ideals envisioned by our founding members.
This 20th reunion promises to be like none other. The Carolinas chapter has invested much time and work in preparing for this all important reunion. They are prepared to give you the best time ever had at a reunion. Hope you can attend and bring another member or a friend.
This year also happens to be an election year. Let us all play a role in choosing the new corps of officers that will lead our association into the next twenty years.

Hope to see you in Charlotte as we take our association into a new era. Our alma mater needs us and I hope we can contribute to the wonderful changes taking place at Ricks Institute.

Sincerely,

Zwannah D. Dukuly, M.D.
